chickpea brownie

My husband loves desserts and sweets in all forms. So I was trying to incorporate something healthy and reduce the fat and sugar from a regular brownie and came up with this. Hope you enjoy this healthy sugar free dessert.

Ingredients For chickpea brownie

  • 1/2 can
    1/2 can of chickpeas rinsed & drained
  • 1 c
    oats, uncooked powdered
  • 2 pkg
    truvia sweetner
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    oats
  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3 Tbsp
    skinny mixes, espresso chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp
    brazil nuts chopped fine (any nuts will work)
  • 15
    dark chocolate chips
  • 3 Tbsp
    almond butter

How To Make chickpea brownie

    Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a mixer, add the chick peas and pulse to a smooth texture.
  • 3
    Add the dry ingredients and mix well. (save the chocolate chips)

    Add the eggs, almond butter and the wet ingredients and mix well.
  • 5
    Add the chocolate chips and mix again.
  • 6
    Pour into a greased 6" cake pan and bake in a pre heated 350 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes.
