Fresh blueberries make this cobbler the best. Serve with ice cream for a wonderful dessert. My best friend gave me this recipe and I hope you all like it.

Ingredients For blueberry cobbler

  • 2 c
    fresh blueberries
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine, melted
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1 c
    boiling water

How To Make blueberry cobbler

    Mix the berries, cinnamon, and lemon juice; pour into a greased 8" pan. In a mixing bowl, stir flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and baking powder; stir in milk and margarine.

    Spoon mixture over berries. For topping, mix 1/2 cup sugar and cornstarch; sprinkle over batter. Slowly pour boiling water over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until cake tests done with a toothpick.
