I had bought some fresh peaches and blueberries, decided I would make a cobbler with it. This version is not real sweet, which I love and my husband did too!

Ingredients For blueberry peach cobbler

  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 2 c
    sliced fresh peaches
  • 1 c
    blueberries, fresh
  • TOPPING
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2/3 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon

How To Make blueberry peach cobbler

    In a saucepan, combine first 5 ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring until thick. Add fresh fruit and pour into a buttered baking 8x8 pan. (if you want to make larger dessert use a 2 quart baking pan)

    For topping combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl. Stir in milk and butter. Pour over fruit mixture.

    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes until topping is golden brown. This is best when served warm. Enjoy!
