Ingredients For mamie esienhower's million dollar fudge

4 1/2 csugar

pinchof salt

2 Tbspbutter

1 lgcan evaporated milk
-
12 ozsemi-sweet chocolate chips

12 ozgerman sweet chocolate

1 ptmarshmallow cream
-
2 jarnut meats (2 cups)
How To Make mamie esienhower's million dollar fudge

1Combine sugar, salt, butter and evaporated milk in a large saucepan with heavy bottom.

2Cook mixture, at boiling temperature, for 6 minutes, stirring constantly, or until thickened.

3Place chocolates, marshmallow cream and nuts in a large mixing bowl. Pour hot syrup over ingredients. Beat until chocolate is melted and pour in pan.

4Let fudge stand for 6 hours before cutting into squares. Store in tin box. NOTE: When German chocolate is not available, 3-4 squares of unsweetened chocolate may be substituted.
