What a fun way to serve up an old family treat. Puppy Chow or Muddy Buddy Mix, either ways this is fun and a bit scary.

Ingredients For halloween puppy chow

  • 9 c
    chex mix cereal ; or crispix
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/22 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 c
    reeses peices or fall m n m's
  • 2 c
    pretzels- mini or sticks
  • 1 c
    peanuts - optional
  • 2 c
    bugels - optional
  • 1 bag
    gummie worms - optional
  • 1 1/2 c
    candy corn or pumpkins

How To Make halloween puppy chow

  • 1
    Pour cereals into a large bowl & set aside. melt chocolate chip, peanut butter n butter together either in microwave or stove top. Poor chocolate mixture over cereal and mix well with hands, using gloves or with a wooden spoon.

    Place cereal mixture in a large paper bag and pour the powdered sugar over, close tightly and shake bag well to coat the cereal. Spread out on a cookie sheet to cool.

    In a large serving bowl, combine cereal, candy corn, peanuts, pretzels, bugel's and gummie worms all together well. See the picture for a neat serving idea.
