Just a smaller version of a coffeecake. Very easy to make, and you can use whatever apples you have on hand.

Ingredients For easy apple crumb cake

  • 1-1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 stick
    melted butter
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 2 lg
    apples, peeled, cored and chopped
  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp
    melted butter

How To Make easy apple crumb cake

    Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" round cake pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, beat flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, 1/2 stick melted butter and egg.

    Stir in apples. Pour into pan. In small bowl, combine brown sugar, cinnamon, pecans, and butter. Sprinkle over batter. Bake about 50 mins, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
