These are one of my favorite cookies to make at Christmas. Hope you and your family enjoy them as much as we do.

Ingredients For snowballs (date balls)

2 stickbutter

1 csugar

1 8 ozpackage chopped dates (make sure they are not sugar coated)

2 crice krispies

1 cpecans (chopped

1 tspvanilla extract

1 boxconfectioners' sugar
How To Make snowballs (date balls)

1Combine first three ingredients and cook for approximately 10 minutes until it comes to a boil. Take off the eye and cool slightly.

2Add all remaining ingredients except confectioner sugar. Dump onto wax paper. Roll into quarter-sized balls.

3Add confectioner sugar to a large plastic bag or bowl. Dump balls into large plastic bag or bowl. Toss until covered. Store in Christmas tins.
