This cookie comes from my ex-brother in-law's mother,and it's been around for a long time.This is an awesome cookie, a little expensive to bake but oh so worth it.

Ingredients For rosie oasterhouse cookies

  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 c
    cooking oil
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 Tbsp
    miracle whip or whatever salad dressing you use
  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 c
    oatmeal, quick oats
  • 1 bottle
    marachino cherries, chopped
  • 1 c
    crushed corn flakes
  • 2 1/2 c
    walnuts, chopped
  • 1 c
    semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make rosie oasterhouse cookies

    Cream together the first 6 ingredients, then add the other ingredients. Mix well until it is all incorporated.

    Pre-heat oven to 350. Drop by spoonful onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake about 10 minutes or until they are a light golden brown.
