I didn't all then right ingredients for this cookie so I thought crushed pretzels would be a good substitution. Would be good also if a nut allergy was keeping nuts out of a recipe. It gives a nice crunch

Ingredients For pretzel cookies

1 cmargarine

1 cvegetable oil
-
1 cwhite sugar

1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1egg
-
1 crice crispies

1 ccoconut
-
1 ccrushed pretzels ( little pretzel sticks)

1 coats (quick)

3 1/2 call purpose flour

1 tspsalt
-
1 tspvanilla

1 tspcream of tartar

1 tspbaking soda
How To Make pretzel cookies

1Cream sugars,margarine and oil. Add egg and vanilla and cream until light and fluffy.

2Combine the flour, salt, soda and cream of tarter. Add the rest of ingredients and mix.

3Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and blend well.

4Chill for at least 1 hour.

5Roll into balls and press down with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 deg. F 10 to 5 min.
