Ingredients For fudge drop cookies with frosting

  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 2
    envelopes of no-melt unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 lg
    egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3/4 c
    milk
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • CHOCOLATE FROSTING:
  • 3 c
    powdered sugar,sifted
  • 1/4 c
    light cream
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1
    envelope no melt unsweetened chocolate

How To Make fudge drop cookies with frosting

    Sift dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, baking powder)together in medium bowl.

    Cream together in mixing bowl butter and brown sugar. Add in chocolate, egg, vanilla.

    Alternate adding dry ingredients with the milk. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 7-10 minutes (should be a soft cake like cookie). Cool.

    Frosting: Mix together the powdered sugar, light cream, vanilla and chocolate. Frost cooled cookies.
