3/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 csugar

2 tspvanilla extract

2 1/4 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

12 ozsemi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make elegant chocolate chip cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Cream together butter, sugars, egg and vanilla.

3Gradually add the flour, soda and salt.

4Stir in chocolate chips.

5Bake for 10-12 minutes. Do not overbake! Use parchment paper. I use the 3rd oven rack from the top. 3 cups of chips enough for a double recipe.
