Ingredients For cry baby cookies

1 cup plus 2 tbsp. shortening

1 cup plus 2 tbsp. sugar

1 cup molasses

2 eggs, beaten

4 3/4 cups sifted flour

1 tbsp. baking powder
-
1 tsp. salt
-
1 1/2 tsp. soda
-
2 cups chopped walnuts
-
1 1/2 cup raisins

1 cup milk
How To Make cry baby cookies

1Cream shortening then add sugar, molasses and eggs.

2Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Drop by tablespoons onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. It makes a big batch, 8 dozen cookies. My Old Recipes
