This recipe comes from a dear friend in Texas that died last year from cancer. She was the sweetest most giving person and loved to cook and share recipes. I have made these numerous times and have shared the recipes every time people have begged..lol These are thin cookies and very rich. I find it unusual they don't have eggs in them. I use my scooper to place them on my cookie sheets. Hope everyone enjoys them and I know Sandy is smiling. I have also crushed up oreo cookies and rolled the cookie balls in them before baking.. was very good also

How To Make cream cheese cookies

1Place cream cheese and butter in a large bowl and mix with a mixer. Add sugar mix well. Add flour, vanilla and last pecans.

2I use a small scoop and drop onto a ungreased baking sheet. These will spread so leave enough room.The recipe calls for 350 degrees at 10 minutes but I find 12 minutes is perfect. Let cool just a few minutes and remove from pan while barely warm. This makes about 55 cookies.
