These are cereal no bake cookies. When I was in Junior high school, our Home Ec. teacher assigned for us to turn in two recipes every week. The idea was to get a recipe file started for the future. This is one of the recipes that I included in that file. Makes a nice chocolatey cookie/candy.

yield 3 1/2 dozen

Ingredients For chocolate delights

  • 1 lb
    sweet milk chocolate
  • 2 (1oz)
    squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1 c
    chopped dates
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 5 c
    corn flakes

How To Make chocolate delights

  • 1
    Melt both chocolates over hot water.
  • 2
    Combine remaining ingredients; add to chocolate & mix well.

    Drop from teaspoon into waxed paper; chill till firm.
