OH MY ! These taste like chocolate covered cherries.Eat them when the kisses are still soft and the cookie is warm and when you bite you will think your eating one. I had a hard time putting them down!

1 cpowdered sugar

2 tspmaraschino cherries juice

1/2 cmaraschino cherries, chopped

1/2 tspalmond extract

few drops red food coloring

2 1/4 call-purpose flour

1/2 tspsalt

How To Make cherry kisses cookies

1Heat oven to 350. In large bowl combine butter,powdered sugar,cherry juice,almond extract and food coloring,blend well.

2Stir in flour and salt.Add cherries.mix well.Form dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet.Bake 8 to 10 minutes.

3Immediately top each cookie with kisses.Remove from cookie sheet.
