This has been a family favorite since I was a child. My sister and eldest son would rather have this for their birthday cake than anything else.

Ingredients For cherry chip cake bars

1 boxcherry chip cake mix
-
1 boxlrg. chocolate pudding,not instant

3 cmilk
-
1 cmilk chocolate chips
-
1 ccoconut
-
1/2 cwalnuts,chopped
How To Make cherry chip cake bars

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Cook pudding as directed on package. When cooked take of heat and stir in cake mix,mix well.

3Pour into greased 15 by 10 pan. Spread with spatula to even out. Sprinkle with milk chocolate chips,coconut and then chopped walnuts. Cook at 350 for 35 min. Test with toothpick to see if it is done. Cool completely. Cut into 24 bars.
