got the recipe from the mom of a sister in law years ago.i am glad i have it because nabisco stopped making these cookies in 1996.

Ingredients For brown edge cookies

2 stickbutter

1 cwhite sugar

1 2/3 cflour

1/2 tspsalt

2 tspvanilla

1egg
How To Make brown edge cookies

1Mix first 5 ingredients together and mix well. Add the egg and mix well. Drop mixture by teaspoon full on a slightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes 350 degrees until edge begins to turn light brown.
