Ingredients For applesauce cookies

  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    applesauce
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1
    egg
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cloves
  • 1 c
    raisins

How To Make applesauce cookies

  • 1
    Stir baking soda into applesauce and set aside.

    Cream shortening and brown sugar. Add applesauce and egg.
  • 3
    Slowly add dry ingredients. Stir in raisins. Drop by teaspoon on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove to cooling rack.
