Ingredients For granny squares

  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
    white karo syrup
  • 2 c
    peanut butter, creamy
  • 6 c
    rice krispie's cereal
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    buttersotch chips

How To Make granny squares

  • 1
    Over medium heat bring the sugar and syrup to a boil stirring occasionally. Stir in peanut butter until melted. Remove from heat and stir in the six cups rice Krispies.Stir well to coat .Place in a lightly buttered 13x9 pan.

    IN double boiler melt together the chocolate and butterscotch chips.Stir a few times and frost the rice krispie treats.Allow the frosting to set and cut into squares.
