rollo turtles

These little caramel treats are a recipe my daughter made in school. They are so easy to make and yet yummy! Would be a great sweet treat to add to your cookie trays for Christmas. They were just too easy not to share.. My pics.

Ingredients For rollo turtles
-
24rollo candies, or do as many as you need
-
24snap pretzels ( they are square with small holes)
-
24whole pecans
-
3 ozwhite chocolate chips
-
1/4 tspvegetable oil
How To Make rollo turtles
-
1Line the pretzels on a baking sheet, lined with waxed paper or parchment paper. Preheat oven to 200 degree
-
2Top each pretzel with a rollo candy.
-
3Place in oven for 5 minutes to soften the rollo. I tested one by pressing a pecan in the center and making sure when pressing the chocolate and caramel came up over the sides of the pecan with ease.
-
4I then melted 3 oz of white chocolate chips with 1/4 tsp of vegetable oil. I used my small whisk to drizzle with the white chocolate. The recipe did not call for the white chocolate. I just thought it would add a bit of decoration. Would be fine without. Entirely up to you.
