My mother was always requested to make Oreo Cookie Balls and bring them to family gatherings. This past Christmas I made them for her but decided to try the peanut butter ones also. They were a hit. If you love Peanut Butter this is for you. They are also very good with the peanut butter cookie mix and white chocolate.

Ingredients For peanut butter cookie balls

  • 18 oz
    peanut butter cookies of your choice
  • 8 oz
    block of softened cream cheese
  • 12 oz
    packages of peanut butter chips
  • 1/4 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c
    creamy peanut butter

How To Make peanut butter cookie balls

    In a food processor, finely crush cookies. In a large mixing bowl combine crushed cookies, softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup of peanut butter. Mix well.

    Roll mixture into melon-size balls and place on a ungreased cookie sheet. Put t in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes.

    While the balls are freezing place peanut butter chips and 3/4cup peanut butter in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave 30 second increments until mix ix smooth and creamy.

    Roll frozen balls in peanut butter mix until well covered. Place on greased cookie sheet. Decorate to your desire or just leave plain. Let sit for about 15 minutes before serving or place in refridgerator until ready to serve.
