Ingredients For maple-nut-pumpkin candies

1 clight brown sugar

1 cgranulated sugar

3/4 cmaples syrup

1/4 cbutter
-
1/2 csolid packed pumpkin

1/2 cheavy whipping cream

1 tsppumpkin pie spice

1/4 tspsalt
-
1 cwalnuts, toasted and chopped
How To Make maple-nut-pumpkin candies

1Line an 8x8 inch metal pan with parchment paper. Spray paper with non-stick cooking spray.

2In a medium pot, combine sugars, maple syrup,butter, pumpkin, cream and pumpkin spice over medium heat. Stir until butter is melted and all ingredients are combined. Bring to a simmer and cook 12 minutes or until temperature reaches 238 degrees on a candy thermometer. Stir in walnuts.

3Pour mixture into lined pan. Cool 1 hour on the counter. Cool an additional 1 hr in fridge. Slice into 36 squares.
