I just loved when I grew up and at Gma Flo's house around Christmas my Gma would always make fudge with my sisters and I. I remember licking the spoon...oh what a treat it was. So after she passed away I got to have her recipe. There was a time where I was not sharing it with anyone. My Gma deserves to be remembered for the great Fudge she made along with many other recipes I remember her making growing up. I hope that many of you pass along this recipe within your families and cherish those times.

Ingredients For gma's million dollar fudge

  • 3 (4oz)
    plain hershey bars
  • 12 oz
    pecan pieces (optional)
  • 1 (12oz)
    hershey dainties (chips)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 (7oz) jar
    marshmellow cream
  • 4 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tall can
    evaporated milk

How To Make gma's million dollar fudge

    *Mix the following ingredients in a 6-8qt. Saucepan: Hershey Bars (in pieces), Dainties, Vanilla, Marshmallow Cream, Butter (or Margarine).

    *Mix the following ingredients in a 4-6qt. Saucepan: 4 1/2 cups sugar, 1 can evamp. milk
  • 3
    *Let sugar and milk come to a boil. After it starts to boil, cook 6 minutes.

    *Pour mixture of sugar and milk over remaining ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy. After mixture is completely blended, add the chopped pecans. Fold in pecans, and then drop balls of the mixture onto wax paper with a tbsp. OR pour mixture in greased pans.

    *Let stand from 4-6 hours, or until completely chilled. Recipe makes 6lbs of the best fudge ever!
