I started making sweets over the holidays for friends and co-workers something fun for everyone. I hope some like it and if anyone other ideas on how to improve please share. This is my first please be kind. This recipe has been pinched from Carla and modified by me.

Ingredients For drunken espresso fudge

  • 1 c
    finely chopped walnuts
  • 1 lb
    baking milk chocolate finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter cut into small pats
  • 1 can
    14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pinch
    real salt (made by real salt)
  • 1 tsp
    medaglia doro instant espresso coffee
  • 2 tsp
    christian brothers brandy

How To Make drunken espresso fudge

    Line an 8"x8" pan with parchment paper or you can use a cooking spray but, use enough spray so you are not fighting to get the fudge out. In a glass bowl, mix baking chocolate, butter, sweetened condensed milk, and salt. Place bowl over double boiler with simmering water. Stir until chocolate is smooth, about 5-10 minutes.

    Remove bowl from heat, dry bottom of bowl. Stir in espresso, brandy and fold in nuts. Pour into prepared dish.

    Chill for 1 1/2 hours until set. Cut fudge into desired size with a sharp knife, and enjoy.
