Who doesn't love butterscotch, chocolate and cashews? If ya don't, there's just something not quite right with ya! ;) I've also made a batch using a double broiler to melt all the chocolate and then stirring in the Peanuts and Cashews in the end. Either way, they are delicious! Recipe is a variation of Donna Brown's Crock Pot candy but made with different flavors and nuts. Pictures are my own.

******Candy will not look any different when done until you stir it.******

When done, stir with a wooden spoon to mix well. Then using a teaspoon or small melon scoop, drop onto wax paper lined surface. Allow candy to set before storing in an air tight container. ***Make sure you use a very large surface. Candy makes upwards of 150 pieces.***

***This recipe is for an older Crock Pot or an Older Slow Cooker. If you have a new model purchased in the last 5 years, I can't attest for how your candy will turn out. This candy was made in a Crock Pot brand Slow Cooker that is 325 watts. Anything hotter than that could cause candy to burn. You may have to adjust your cooking time. Prepare at your own risk or use double broiler method as follows.***

DOUBLE BROILER In a double broiler, combine all chocolate ingredients and stir until melted and well mixed. Removed from heat and add peanuts and cashews. Follow the same directions as above in step 2. Enjoy!
