My mom used to make these when i were little. it is so good and easy to make. it great durning summer time when it get hot it will cool you down with ice cream.

2 pkgfresh strawberries

1/2 galvanilla ice cream

1 or 2 canwhip creams

1 or 2 pkground cake or pound cake your choice

1/3 csugar
How To Make summer treat strawberry shortcake

1raise the strawberries before cutting cut of the stem-(top of the strawberry). cut them into 4th quarters. after cutting put in large size bowl and use a masher and mash up all the strawberries until they no longer in large chuck. it will turn out like sauce after mashing. -
2after mashing add the sugar and stir it depending how sweet you want it.the sugar will help the tart in strawberry some strawberry are sour and after mixing the sugar taste it first to make sure you don't put to much or less sugar.

3then get the cake and put 2 scoop of ice cream on top of the cake then grab a tablespoon and put 3 scoop of the strawberries sauce over the ice cream and then put whip cream on top.
