This dessert is a cool summer dessert to serve to your guest during the patriotic holidays. Simply light and creamy and melts in your mouth!

Ingredients For strawberry trifle delight

  • 2 c
    strawberries
  • 2 c
    angel food cake
  • 1 1/2 pt
    heavy cream (see recipe below)
  • 1 1/2 c
    vanilla pudding
  • 2 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    cream of tartar

How To Make strawberry trifle delight

  • 1
    Clean and slice (lengthwise) fresh strawberries. Prepare angel food cake according to recipe (box mix will work fine). Prepare your vanilla pudding according to directions (jello pre-packaged) is fine to use also.

    Heavy Cream Mixture •1 cup heavy cream •1/4 cup sugar •1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    Begin to layer your ingredients starting with the prepared Heavy Cream Mixture then strawberries then vanilla pudding and repeat layers. Top off and garnish with remaining strawberries and a hint of mint.
