Banana Bread is one of my favorite things to eat with my morning coffee. This morning ,I decided to make me a loaf to share with a neigbor. Mmmm, makes the cup of coffee taste even better. ENJOY !

Ingredients For reethy's most moist banana bread

  • 2 lg
    bananas (ripe & mashed)
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1
    4oz apple sauce cup
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 2 md
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • nuts optional

    With mixer, mix together: mashed banana, oil, apple sauce cup, sugar, eggs and vinilla.

    In seperate bowel sift together remaining dry ingredients.

    Add wet ingredients to dry. Mix till ALL is wet, and well incorperated.

    Add nuts, if desired

    Pour into prepared pan. Bake at 325 F, for 40-50 min or until toothpick is clean after inserting in center of loaf.
