quick coffee cake...

I have made this a few times & took it to work. I know why it's called quick but not sure why it's called "coffee cake" Because there is no coffee in it. Even since I have a friend at work who can't boil water to save her life says "I can taste the coffee, is it decaf?" LOL I love her...

1 1/2 call purpose flour, sifted

2 1/2 tspbaking powder
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/2 csugar
-
1egg, beaten
-
1/4 cvegetable oil
-
3/4 cmilk
How To Make quick coffee cake...

1Pre-heat oven to 375F. Lightly grease & flour a 8x8x2 inch pan.

2Sift all the dry ingredients together in a medium bowl.

3Mix all the wet ingredients together, then add to the dry & mix well.

4Pour into baking pan & bake for 30 to 35 mins. Serve hot, warm or cold.
