My family loves this cake. You can frost it with Chocolate butter cream Icing or just sprinkle powder sugar on it. In the summer I serve it with strawberries or fresh peach slices with Whip cream!! Enjoy

Ingredients For pound cake

    flour
  • 2 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 6
    large eggs
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2 stick
    butter (room temp)
  • 1/2 c
    crisco shortening
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make pound cake

    Put all ingredients in one bowl and mix on high for 5 1/2 minutes.

    Grease and flour a large tube cake pan.

    Bake at 325 for 80 minutes. this cake is great and so easy to make.
