Ingredients For the best pineapple cake

    eggs
  • 1 can
    (20 ounces) crushed pineapple in juice, undrained
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • FROSTING
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c
    toasted, chopped walnuts (optional)

How To Make the best pineapple cake

    Beat eggs in large bowl until light and fluffy. Add sugar and continue beating until thick. Stir in flour, pineapple, nuts, baking soda and vanilla Mix thoroughly.

    Pour batter into greased 9 X 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes

    FROSTING; Beat together cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
