3 ccrushed peanut brittle, divided

1 boxyellow cake mix

1 cwater
-
1/2 cvegetable oil

3large eggs

3/4 cdark brown sugar

1 ccreamy peanut butter
-
3/4 ccubed cream cheese
- MALTED CARAMEL FROSTING

1 tubefrozen whipped topping, thawed

8 ozcream cheese, softened
-
1/2 chalf and half
-
4 Tbspmalted milk powder
-
1 ccaramel ice cream topping
How To Make peanut brittle cake with malted caramel frosting

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2To make the cake, coat a 13-x 9-x 2-inch baking pan with cooking spray. Add 1 cup crushed peanut brittle and sprinkle with brown sugar; mix well.

3In a large bowl, combine cake mix, water,v egetable oil, eggs and brown sugar. Beat with an electric mixer on high for 3 minutes. Add peanut butter and cubed cream cheese.

4Beat again at low speed for 40 seconds until blended.

5Pour into a prepared baking pan. Add 1 cup crushed peanut brittle and press down with a spoon.

6Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted the center comes out clean. Cool completely for 5 minutes.

7To make the malted caramel frosting, combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Whisk together for 3 minutes until blended. Set aside.

8Spread the frosting onto the cake and sprinkle with remaining crushed peanut brittle.
