4eggs , beaten

1 cfirmly packed brown sugar

i/2 cmeelted butter

2 Tbspall purpose flour

1 can15 ounce can of crushed pineapple in juice or pine apple chunks

6 slicestale bread, cubed or torn

1/4 ccoconut (optional)
How To Make menehune bread pudding

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2In a large bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, butter, flour, pineapple with its juices and bread cubes or pieces. Mix well

3Pour mixture into a 9 inch round dish. Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about one hour. that has been sprayed with pam

4We have always double the recipe and used a 13x 9 inch baking dish. The smaller one just isn't a big enough portion to satisfy everyone's taste buds and they always wants seconds.
