1 betty crocker strawberry[pink] cake mix

2 heart shaped cake pans per cake mix.

2 boxes vanilla instant pudding. 1 per cake batter

2 ""large"" tubs white frosting
-
1 large bottle red food coloring for frosting

1-2 tubes of wiltons red shimmer gel
-
1 pastry bag with rose tip or star tip
- WHITE CHOC GANACHE FOR TOP OF CAKE ONLY

1 1/2 cups white choc chips

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 tabsp white corn syrup
How To Make grace's valentine cake

1PRE-HEAT OVEN 350. MAKE CAKE BATTERS AS DIRECTED AND ADD THE PUDDING TO EACH BATTER. NOW THY HAVE PINK PUDDING, IF U CAN FIND THAT GET THAT FOR THE PINK CAKE BATTER. IF U CAN'T FIND PINK CAKE BATTER THEN USE ENOUGH RED FOOD COLORING TO MAKE IT A NICE PINK COLOR.

2POUR CAKE BATTER INTO EACH HEART SHAPED 9INCH CAKE PAN THAT HAS BEEN SPRAYED WITH PAM COOKING SPRAY. BAKE ABOUT 45-50 MINS TIL TOOTH PICK COMES OUT CLEAN.

3TAKE OUT AND LET COOL COMPLETELY. WHILE CAKE IS COOLING. TAKE RED FOOD COLORING AND MAKE 1 LARGE TUB OF FROSTING RED AND THE OTHER A NICE PINK IN COLOR

4AFTER THE CAKES ARE COMPLETELY COOLED, TAKE EACH CAKE AND CUT CAREFULLY IN HALF SO THAT U HAVE 2 PINK HEART SHAPED CAKES AND 2 RED HEART SHAPED CAKES.

5ON A NICE CAKE PLATE, PLACE A RED PAPER VALENTINE LACED DOILY. GENTLY PLACE A PINK CAKE LAYER ON IT AND FROST TOP OF IT WITH THE RED FROSTING. THEN PLACE RED CAKE LAYER ON TOP AND FROST WITH PINK FROSTING. REPEAT TIL U GET TO THE TOP OF CAKE. DO NOT FROST THE TOP LAYER WITH FROSTING. FROST OUTSIDE OF CAKE RED OR A NICE DEEP PINK IN COLOR FROSTING UR CHOICE. IT WILL STILL BE PRETTY.

6MAKE WHITE CHOC GANACHE FOR TOP LAYER

7HEAT THE HEAVY WHIPPING CREAM IN SMALL PAN JUST TIL IT STARTS TO BOIL DON'T LET IT BREAK.REMOVE FROM HEAT. POUR IN 1 TABSP WHITE CORN SYRUP AND STIR AND ADD THE WHITE CHOC CHIPS AND KEEP STIRRING TIL SMOOTH

8SPOON OVER TOP LAYER OF CAKE AND SMOOTH OUT KINDA NICE AND THICK. LET SET

9NOW THAT TOP IS SET TAKE PASTRY BAG AND DO THE EDGES IN OPPOSIT COLOR OF FROSTING LAST USED ON CAKE, GOING AROUND THE TOP OF CAKE. IF U FROSTED THE CAKE RED USE THAT NICE DEEP PINK COLORED FROSTING TO TRIM CAKE TOP.

10THEN TAKE TUBE OF WILTONS RED SHIMMER GEL AND WRITE ""HAPPY VALEBTINS DAY."" OR WHAT EVER YOU WISH TO WRITE ON TOP OF THIS 4 LAYER VALENTINE CAKE.
