Ingredients For fruit cake

  • 2 stick
    margarine
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    self rising flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 lb
    red candied cherries, chopped
  • 1/2 lb
    white candied pineapple, chopped
  • 1/2 lb
    green candied pineapple, chopped
  • 1/4 lb
    raisins
  • 6 c
    pecans, chopped

How To Make fruit cake

  • 1
    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well.Add flour and cinnamon. add vanilla and almond extracts. Add fruits and nuts which have been chopped. Put into lrg greased pan and place in a 375f oven. after mixture has cooked 15 minutes, stir it. do this 3 times.After the third time, have tube pan or 2 loaf pans greased and lined with parchment paper. pack cake into pans very well and bake 15 min more. coolat nleast 15 min before removing from pan. let cool and serve
