flourless cocoa brownies

I didn't have chocolate, just cocoa, but I wanted something brownie-like. I'm sensitive to gluten and greasy substances, so I left them out. These were surprisingly fudgy yet tender!

Ingredients For flourless cocoa brownies

  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 c
    cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp
    flavored extract, vanilla or mint

How To Make flourless cocoa brownies

    Beat eggs until fluffy and light yellow
  • 2
    Add both sugars, then remaining ingredients. The batter will be thick
  • 3
    Spread in a lightly-greased pan. For thick brownies, use a 9x9, but for about 1/2-3/4" thick brownies, use a 9x13

    Bake at 300*F for 35-45 minutes
