Ingredients For cream cheese pound cake

  • 8 oz
    (1 pkg. cream cheese)
  • 1 lb
    butter, softened (yes, 1 lb! not a typo!!!)
  • 3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 8
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    self rising flour
  • 2 c
    regular flour

How To Make cream cheese pound cake

    Grease and flour a 10" tube pan. Preheat oven to 300

    Cream butter and cream cheese, add sugar, mix well. Add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixing thoroughly. Pour into prepared pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. DO NOT OPEN OVEN!!! (cooking time varies. Anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours depending on oven) Cool before removing from pan.
