2 call purpose flour

1 csugar

3 Tbspcocoa powder

2 tspbaking soda

1 cwater

1 cmayonnaise

1 tspvanilla extract

brown sugar frosting ingredients

1/4 cbutter, room temperature

2 Tbspmilk
-
1 3/4 cpowdered sugar

1/2 cpacked brown sugar
How To Make chocolate mayonnaise cake

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2In large bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa and soda.

3Add water, mayonnaise and vanilla; beat at medium speed til thoroughly combined.

4Pour into greased 9in. square or an 11x7 baking pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or til cake tests done. Cool completely.

5For frosting: Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in brown sugar; cook & stir til bubbly. Remove and stir in milk. Gradually add powdered sugar; beat by hand til of spreading consistency.
