Ingredients For chocolate pound cake

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 6
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2-1/4 c
    cake flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 c
    cocoa

How To Make chocolate pound cake

  • 1
    Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add vanilla.

    In a separate bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add about half of the flour mixture to the butter mixture and beat well. Add remaining flour mixture and beat well for about 2 minutes.

    Pour batter into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
