This cake is so good and delicious reminds me of a cordial chocolate cherry. I made this because I had a lot of left over cranberry jelly from Thanksgiving. I had no idea what to do with it so I decided to put it in some cupcakes but I had no liners so I used my bunt cake pans. This is perfect for the holidays my kids devoured it in two days. And it is so easy to make and not time consuming.

Oh, how we LOVED this cake! The addition of cranberry and apple is what makes it so moist. We suggest using both canned cranberry jelly and 1/2 cup of dried cranberries.

When cake is done cool in pan for 15 minutes and then turn it over in a cake plate or regular plate. Let cool for at least 1 hour after that pour sauce over the top and enjoy. It is even better the next day. You can warm it up and put a scoop of ice cream on top. This cake is super delicious and easy to make. If you do use canned jelly I suggest you use some dried cranberries as well in the batter. You can also add nuts if you would like to.
