Ingredients For cherries on the snow cake

1 boxduncan hines yellow cake mix
- ICING

8 ozcream cheese, softened

3 ozcream cheese, softened

2/3 csugar

2 Tbspmilk

1 tspvanilla

16 ozcan cherry pie filling (stir 1 teaspoon almond extract into can of filling)
How To Make cherries on the snow cake

1Using 8-or-9 inch round layer cake pans, make and cool cake as directed on the label.

2Soften cream cheese. Add sugar, milk and vanilla; beat until smooth. Split each layer into two thin layers. Spread 1/2 cup cream cheese mixture and 1/2 cup cherry pie filling between each layer and on top of cake. Store in refrigerator.
