Ingredients For butterscotch nut pudding

  • 1 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 3/4 c
    scalded milk
  • 3
    egg yolks
  • 1/2 c
    cold milk
  • 6 Tbsp
    flour
  • 1/3 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts

How To Make butterscotch nut pudding

  • 1
    Dissolve the brown sugar and butter in the scalded milk Combine slightly beaten egg yolks with cold milk; mix with flour and salt.

    Add first milk mixture and nuts. Pour in a greased inset pan.

    Cover and steam for 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
