Ingredients For beet cake

1 1/2 csugar

3eggs, at room temperature

1 csalad oil

1 1/2 ccanned beets, sieved

2squares semisweet chocolate

1 3/4 cflour
-
1 1/2 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt
-
1 tspvanilla extract

1 cancream cheese frosting
-
1/4 cchopped walnuts
How To Make beet cake

1Cream sugar, eggs and oil. Blend beets and melted chocolate together. Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Add all ingredients together and add vanilla extract.

2Grease and dust with flour. Bake at 350F in 2 eight inch pans or 2 nine inch pans for 20-25 minutes. Let it cool.

3Spread cream cheese frosting over cake. Sprinkle with walnuts.
