1 1/2 call purpose flour

1/2 csugar

2 Tbspbutter ( or margarine ) melted

1/2 cmilk

1egg, slightly beaten

2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1 cshredded cheddar cheese

1 cchopped tart cooking apple
- TOPPING

1/2 call purpose flour
-
1/3 cfirmly packed brown sugar

1/2 tspcinnamon

1/4 cbutter ( or margarine ) melted
How To Make apple cheese coffee cake

1Heat oven to 375 F. In a small mixing bowl combine all coffee cake ingredients EXCEPT cheese and apple. Beat at low speed scraping bowl often, until well mixed ( 1 to 2 minutes )

2By hand, stir in cheese and apple. Spread into greased 9 inch square baking pan or dish.

3In a small bowl combine 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut in butter until crumbly; sprinkle over coffee cake batter.

4Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
