These are so quick and tasty. My sons friend came over just as I was removing them from the oven. Needless to say, he gobbled up one,then two and before I knew it he had many more. Good taste tester!

Ingredients For crescent pecan pastries

  • 4 oz
    cream cheese,softened
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped pecans
  • 8 oz
    can crescent rolls
  • 1/2 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 - 3 tsp
    milk

How To Make crescent pecan pastries

    In smallbowl,blend cream cheese,sugar,cinnamon & vanilla until smooth; stir in pecans.

    Separate dough into 4 rectangles;firmly press perforations to seal.Spread about 2 Tablespoons cream cheese misture over each rectangle to within 1/4" of the edges. Starting at the shortest side,roll up and pinch seams to seal.

    Cut each into 4 slices. Place cut side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375* for 11 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.

    In a small bowl, blend glaze ingredients,(powdered sugar & milk) until smooth; drizzle over warm ,not piping hot,rolls. Makes 16 pastries.Serves 8... (or one hungry taste tester!)
