I found this recipe in my recipe box, but don't remember where I got it from. I do know it's very tasty and it's good for a main meal or a brunch meal.

Ingredients For italian quiche

  • 1
    9" pie crust, if frozen, thawed.
  • 1-1/2 c
    reduced-fat, shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/2 c
    favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1/3 c
    pepperoni slices, i used turkey pepperoni
  • 1/4 c
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion.
  • 2
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    light cream
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper

How To Make italian quiche

    Heat oven to 350. Lightly spray a 9" pie pan w/ cooking spray. Place pie crust in pie pan and bake 6-8 min, or until set. Let cool.

    Layer pie crust w/ 3/4 cup cheese, spaghetti sauce, pepperoni, green bell pepper, onion and remaining cheese.

    In bowl, combine eggs, cream and pepper. Mix well. Pour over filling in crust. Place pan on a baking sheet. Bale 45-50 min, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cut into wedges.
