1-1/2 cflour

1/2 cwhole wheat flour

1 csugar

2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 tspbaking soda

1egg, lightly beaten

1 cfat-free milk

1/3 ccanola oil

1 tspvanilla

1/2 csnipped ried cherries

1/2 cgolden raisins

2 tsplemon peel

1/2 cpowdered sugar

1 tsplemon peel

1-2 tsplemon juice
How To Make sweet raisin-cherry bread w/ lemon glaze

1Heat oven to 350 spray a loaf pan w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, combine flours, sugar, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Make a well in center of flour mix. In another bowl, stir together egg, milk, oil and vanilla. Stir in dried cherries, raisins and 2 tsp lemon peel. Add egg mix to flour mis. Stir until just combined. Spoon into loaf pan, bake 1 hr, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. In small bowl, combine powdered sugar and 1 tsp lemon peel. Stir in enough lemon juice to become drizzling consistency. Drizzle over slightly cooled bread.
