My grandma would make this for chrismas every year.

Ingredients For grandma's rolls

  • 2 pkg
    active dry yeast
  • 1/2 c
    105-110 degree water
  • 2 c
    luke warm water
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    margarine or crisco
  • 6 1/2- 7 c
    flour

How To Make grandma's rolls

    Mix the dry yeast and the 1/2 cup of water (the water MUST between 105-110 degrees) set aside.

    In a separate bowl mix the warm water, sugar and salt. Combine the two mixtures. Add egg, margarine and flour. Mix well and put in frige for 2 hours.

    Place a scoop of dough on baking sheet, brush center with meltrd butter and fold into a 1/2 circle.

    Let rise for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. Bake at 400 for 12-15 min
