I have no idea where I got this recipe but have been making these since I was in college (which was years ago)! They are called Beer Rolls but I have always made them in muffin tins. When I make Beef Stew, I have to have my Beer Rolls! They are quite yummy!

Ingredients For beer rolls (muffins)

  • 2 c
    bisquick
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • enough beer to moisten

How To Make beer rolls (muffins)

Mix Bisquick and sugar together. Add enough beer to moisten. Will be the consistency of muffin mix. Fill muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown on the top. The beer adds the yeast taste of homemade rolls. Although I have not tried them without the sugar, I am sure it could be left out for an unsweetened roll. Enjoy!
