Ingredients For bacon and onion biscuits

  • 5
    slices bacon, chopped in half-inch pieces
  • 1/3 c
    onion, finely diced
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cold butter, cut into cubes
  • 3/4 c
    milk

How To Make bacon and onion biscuits

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cook bacon and onions until bacon is crispy. Set aside to cool. Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, butter, milk, bacon and onions. Mix to blend. Roll out dough and cut with cookie cutter. Bake on cookie sheets for 15 minutes or until golden and fluffy. Makers 10-12 servings.
